BEST BARTENDER 2025
During the preliminary round, the participants are tested in a knock-out race of four rounds on their knowledge, speed, technique, mixology, personality and hospitality. An all-round competition and an ultimate test for bartenders. Nice detail: everyone is welcome this day to come and see how the competing bartenders struggle through the competition rounds. This means that in addition to the excitement and sensation, it is also a pleasant day with a lot of acquaintances from the industry and visitors.
Announcement of the top 3
A professional jury will announce the top 3 best bartenders on the same day. They will hear who will receive the prestigious title during the 'Entree Awards 2025' on Monday 1 December.

How does the competition work?
The bartenders will compete for the title of Best Bartender at LuminAir in the DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station. We will, of course, let you know how to best prepare, but the focus will be on knowledge, speed, hospitality, and originality. The competition will consist of several rounds, ultimately leading to a top 3. The winner will be announced during the Entree Awards on December 1 at Theater Amsterdam.
Why participate in Best Bartender?
Besides being an educational (and fun!) day, this is a unique opportunity to put yourself in the spotlight. The top 3 finalists will take the stage during the Entree Awards on December 2, where the winner will be announced. In addition, the winner will be offered a regular column in Entree magazine, and we will connect various media outlets to the Best Bartender.
For previous winners such as Alina Lucia, Sebastian Cichowlas, Najade Bijl, Andrei Talapanescu, Stefan Sumual, Mads Voorhoeve, and Daryl Lieuw-On, the title has been a real career boost. For example, Lieuw-On went on to open his own bar, and many finalists have since been sought after by beverage brands and hospitality entrepreneurs as consultants.
