Tijdens de uitreiking van The World's 50 Best Bars werden de vijftig beste cocktailbars ter wereld gepresenteerd in Madrid, Spanje. Op de eerste plek staat Handshake Speakeasy in Mexico van de Nederlander Eric van Beek. Bar Leone in Hong Kong kreeg de tweede plaats en bar Sips, die vorig jaar op de eerste plek stond, krijgt de derde plek.
