Meerdere nominaties voor Tess Posthumus

Voor het derde achtereenvolgende jaar maakt Tess Posthumus kans op de titel International Bartender of the Year. Daarnaast is de bar Flying Dutchmen Cocktails, die ze begin dit jaar samen met Timo Janse opende genomineerd in de categorie Best New International Cocktail Bar.

Vooraanstaande professionals uit de cocktailindustrie brachten hun stem uit en op basis daarvan is 15 juni de top 10 bekend gemaakt.

Tess Posthumus is de eerste Nederlandse genomineerde sinds de introductie van de award twaalf jaar geleden. Bij winst zou Posthumus tevens de eerste vrouwelijke winnaar zijn. De prijs wordt 22 juli uitgereikt tijdens het cocktail event Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans. 

Tales of the Cocktail: Spirited Awards
De Spirited Awards is in 2006 door Tales of the Cocktail opgericht om de inspanningen van de beste professionals binnen de cocktail- en drank industrie te erkennen. Vierentwintig awards worden uitgereikt aan onder andere de beste bars, bartenders, schrijvers en distilleerders.
